What is your role at the DVC?
My role at the DVC is to teach people to see effectively with both eyes. Many people's eyes do not work as a team. This creates all kinds of visual issues that are very treatable. The answer to this problem involves active patient participation in an integrative process in which the eyes, body and brain, work together effectively and efficiently. We use a variety of lenses, prisms, and glasses in fun experiments to accomplish this.

Tell us a hidden talent, special skill, or unknown fact about yourself!
An unknown fact about myself is that I became a Certified Phlebotomist shortly before Covid.During that time I also became a Certified Bird Specialist.I have a deep love for animals. I am an avid nature lover and enjoy just about anything that has to do with the outdoors.I enjoy walking, hiking and I am trying to learn all I can regarding healthy foods and healthy lifestyle habits.
My favorite activity of VT is the Vectogram activity. It deals with fusing the two objects together into one picture with depth. It is a fun activity that is like seeing magic. When someone has never seen in 3D it is a real joy to see their reaction as they make this new discovery.
