What is your role at the DVC?

From the first initial phone call to the graduation ceremony, I am there guiding families through the whole journey and answering any questions they may have. I am also one of the first smiling faces you see when walking into the office. I ensure that the office runs smoothly on a daily basis.

What's the best part of your job?

I enjoy watching the transformation in these kids on a daily basis. I especially enjoy seeing the shy, quiet kid that lacks self-confidence open up, find themself, and grow into a confident outgoing child. I also enjoy meeting new people and encouraging parents that they have found the right place to help their child.

Tell us a hidden talent, special skill, or unknown fact about yourself!

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and being involved with our church. I love gardening, riding motorcycles, hiking … really anything to do with the outdoors. I also have been called the crazy cat lady a time or two, as we have 4 cats!
